The No. 2 tee shot requires a very accurate throw – “A very tightly guarded tunnel” says Jon Foley – and the tunnel shots are one of the major features of the course. There are a number of tunnels, but they are not all the same. They can be near the tee, as it is here, or in the middle of the shot or close to the green. Fairly often the holes open up around the green and that is true of No. 2.
